About Us

TEAM OZ BASKETBALL was founded in 2016 by Warren Rosen. Coach Waz has been a high level coach with success in Australia since 2003. He has decided to take a different path and help Australian kids get to college and beyond. “Our focus is to prepare young aussie basketball players (Boys & Girls) to get to the next level”.

In 2014 & 2015 Coach Waz had the honour of being involved as a coach at the elite invitation only Adidas Nations (Team Asia Pacific) held in Los Angeles, California.  In 2016 Coach Waz attended the NCAA Final Four in Houston Texas where he met high level coaches/scouts in both the collegiate & NBA level. Since then he has been on the ground in the US making pathways for our aussie players. We aren’t just preparing these young men and women for basketball, but life as well. Our focus is to help our players have fun, learn the game of basketball the correct way, and learn life lessons from the sport we all love and apply it to everyday life! We strive to help all of the young men and women in our program become better leaders for the future. If we teach our youth to be committed, disciplined, and always give their all, we have done our job!
